1. Do I have a case?
The best thing for you to do is contact us and we can talk through the
situation, circumstances and your injuries to determine if there is something
worth pursuing. Often times personal injury cases seem cut and dry but there
can be other issues embedded or developing that you are unaware of. Your best
option is to start a conversation with one of our attorneys.
2. What will my case cost?
We work on a contingency basis at Osborn Machler. That means you don't pay
anything until your case goes to court and a ruling is made. The initial cost to
you will be your time providing us with details and circumstances regarding your
case. If you don't win in court, we don't collect it's that simple.
3. What will my role be?
We will require your testimony and any other supporting information to give
your case a chance in court. That being said, we have worked with thousands
of clients over the years and on a wide range of cases so we have our system
well managed and streamlined. We will make the process as time efficient and
as simple as possible for you.
4. What if this is a simple insurance case and my provider wants to cut
me a check?
Often times an insurance company will offer an unofficial settlement for an
accident or case because they know if it goes to court there is a chance they
will end up losing more. It is our job as attorneys to guide you in the path of
your best interest. Often times there are other issues beyond what is apparent
immediately following an accident. We recommend speaking with an attorney before
accepting any payment to determine the best next steps. More often than not these
initial insurance offerings amount to far less than the cost of your injuries and
damages.
