SIMEON OSBORN

Simeon J. Osborn has developed a powerful track record in personal injury litigation. He has tried many cases and reached settlements for more than $1 million including Palacios v. Conklin & Honda, et al., which was, at the time, the largest personal injury verdict in state history.

Mr. Osborn is admitted to practice in Washington state and federal district courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Military Appeals. He is a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Western Trial Lawyers Association, and the King County Bar Association. In 2003, Mr. Osborn received the great honor of being voted in to the American Board of Trial Advocates. This invitation-only organization recognizes only the best trial lawyers from both plaintiff and defense practice.

Mr. Osborn received his BA from Whitman College in 1980 and his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University) in 1984. Except for college, Mr. Osborn has lived his entire life in the Seattle area and remains an active member of the community. He served for several years on the Board of Trustees of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and is a past member of the Providence Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. He was involved with Special Olympics and the Leukemia Society of America for years as a fundraiser. Mr. Osborn is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kirkland Boys and Girls Club, The Seattle University Alumni Board, and the Board of Trustees of Kirkland American Little League.

Mr. Osborn has published several articles on trial practice and is a frequent speaker and instructor in the area of trial preparation and practice. Mr. Osborn also provides pro bono legal services for youth organizations and boards upon which he serves.

Mr. Osborn is an AV-rated attorney. This rating means his legal abilities are of the highest tier and he comes highly recommended by his peers as a practitioner of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. In order to be considered for a Martindale Hubbell rating, an attorney must have been admitted to the bar for 10 years or more.
